The Transition from PAWS to EvaluationKit
During Summer 2020, student feedback will be collected via EvaluationKit for Sessions 2 and 3 only; feedback collected for all other Summer 2020 sessions will be done through PAWS. Beginning in Fall 2020, all student feedback will be gathered via EvaluationKit, and beginning in Fall 2020 instructors will have the option to add their own questions to the feedback survey. The switch from PAWS to EvaluationKit was a change recommended by the Student Feedback on Teaching Task Force and agreed upon in a recently signed MOA.

Student feedback that was collected through PAWS (Fall 2014 through Summer 2020) will remain accessible via that system. How do I access the online student feedback summaries for my classes?
Please see the Faculty Tools below for detailed tutorials. Deans and Chairs will be able to access course summaries for their department/school the week following the grading deadline for the term. Instructors will be able to access individual student responses and class summaries following the grading deadline for the term and once their grades have been submitted.
I taught a class for the term but I do not see a summary for the class?
Summaries were not generated for classes with no student responses.
How can I print Student Feedback on Teaching Class Summaries?
Summaries can be printed using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Please see the Faculty Tools below for detailed printing instructions (including “print to pdf”). Individual Student Responses and Class Summaries can also be “printed to pdf” and then saved electronically for future use/upload.
How can I share my Student Feedback on Teaching Individual Student Response Reports and Class Summaries with committee members?
As noted in MOA # 98, faculty are allowed access to share their course evaluation data with relevant reappointment and promotions committee members. As such, instructions along with PAWS screen shots for sharing course feedback can be found in the tutorials below in the Faculty Tools section. Two tabs have been added for this enhanced functionality in PAWS — “Manage Your Shares” and “Feedback Shared with Me”.
